Interim Controller
We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim Controller at a non-profit organization located in Newington, CT, 06111. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in non-profit accounting including month-end close and preparing financial statements at a controller level.
This role is a 4 month consulting role that will pay up to $80.00 per hour (based on relevant work experience) within a 40-hour work week.
On-site 4-5 days per week.

Responsibilities
- Manage a staff of one direct report through close and financials
- Oversee Accounts Payable
- Provide timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, financial reporting
- Manage and maintain accounting process
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or related field; CPA preferred
- Must have non-profit accounting, month-end, and quarter-end experience
- Recent use and proficiency in Blackbaud required
- Proficient in using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs
