Investor Relations Associate

A prominent real estate investment firm located in Boston is seeking an experienced Investor Relations professional to join their team as an Investor Relations Associate. Reporting to the Director of Investor Relations, this position will play a key role in all investor-related activities while supporting the Firm’s critical fundraising and marketing processes. This is a hybrid opportunity.

This is a permanent position that will pay between $95k-$115k base plus bonus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Actively engage with potential and existing investors to communicate the Firm's investment strategies, views, and performance.
• Assist in all aspects of the sales process, from identifying and generating new leads to interfacing with clients, consultants, and prospects.
• Prepare and follow up on client meetings, generate additional meetings, and attend industry conferences.
• Design and implement processes to streamline the sales process.
• Work with the investor services team to track key client, consultant, and prospect information in the CRM.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets and ensure deadlines are met.
• Work with Investor Services team to ensure investor inquiries are addressed appropriately
  
  

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of experience in Investor Relations or a similar role within asset management industry; experience in real estate investment or other private asset class is a plus, but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree required, with demonstrated strong academic performance and extracurricular involvement during these programs.
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Series 7 and 63 registrations with the SEC, or willingness to become registered.
