Senior Private Credit Operations Analyst – Minneapolis, MN

A leading global asset management firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Senior Private Credit Operations Analyst to join their team. This role will be instrumental in supporting all operational aspects of the firm's private credit investments. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in private credit operations and a strong desire to expand their knowledge within the private credit space.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
• Compensation: $95,000–$100,000 base salary performance-based bonus
• Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week in Minneapolis, MN)
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operational processes throughout the private credit lifecycle, from deal execution to loan payoff.
• Administer private credit loans, ensuring accurate transaction booking and data management.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the firm and custodian banks for private investments, coordinating closings, settlements, and post-settlement activities.
• Collaborate with investment and legal teams on transaction management, deal closings, and amendments.
• Troubleshoot settlement issues, payment discrepancies, and operational challenges with fund administrators, custodians, and agency teams.
• Assist trading teams with security setup, trade compliance, and execution workflows.
• Stay informed on regulatory requirements and investment guidelines, ensuring compliance across multiple asset classes.
• Act as a data steward, ensuring accuracy and consistency of private market data across internal systems.
• Represent private credit operations in cross-functional projects and firm-wide initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 5 years of experience in private credit operations, with a solid understanding of the private credit lifecycle.
• Proficiency in reviewing private credit loan documents (e.g., credit agreements, amendments, payoffs).
• Strong technical skills, including MS Excel proficiency and the ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to process improvements.
