This role will be instrumental in supporting all operational aspects of the firm's private credit investments. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in private credit operations and a strong desire to expand their knowledge within the private credit space.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Compensation: $95,000–$100,000 base salary performance-based bonus
- Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week in Minneapolis, MN)
- Oversee operational processes throughout the private credit lifecycle, from deal execution to loan payoff.
- Administer private credit loans, ensuring accurate transaction booking and data management.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the firm and custodian banks for private investments, coordinating closings, settlements, and post-settlement activities.
- Collaborate with investment and legal teams on transaction management, deal closings, and amendments.
- Troubleshoot settlement issues, payment discrepancies, and operational challenges with fund administrators, custodians, and agency teams.
- Assist trading teams with security setup, trade compliance, and execution workflows.
- Stay informed on regulatory requirements and investment guidelines, ensuring compliance across multiple asset classes.
- Act as a data steward, ensuring accuracy and consistency of private market data across internal systems.
- Represent private credit operations in cross-functional projects and firm-wide initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- 5 years of experience in private credit operations, with a solid understanding of the private credit lifecycle.
- Proficiency in reviewing private credit loan documents (e.g., credit agreements, amendments, payoffs).
- Strong technical skills, including MS Excel proficiency and the ability to work with large data sets.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to process improvements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
