Remote Senior Tax Associate (High Net Worth)

A well-established public accounting and advisory firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join their team. This position will be responsible for overseeing ensuring accuracy, adhering to tax regulations, and providing expert guidance to clients and junior staff. This role is primarily focused on high net worth clients. This role is a full time remote opportunity that will offer up to 125K base plus bonus and offers outstanding benefits.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead in the preparation of individual and business tax returns.
• Lead in the preparation of individual and business tax needs, such as estimated payments, extensions, select form preparation and other items.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Research tax issues and stay updated on tax law changes.
• Provide verbal and written explanations and summaries of tax issues to colleagues and clients
• Lead with process evaluation and design.
• Lead with technology evaluation and selection.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in tax or financial accounting services.
• Experience in tax accounting for High Net Worth Clients
• Proficiency in accounting software and (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• CPA, EA or other professional certification
