Tax Manager / Senior Manager
Our client, a prestigious established medium-sized CPA firm located North of Boston, seeks a Tax Manager / Senior Manager to join their team.
This is a challenging role with exposure to tax accounting issues and tax projects for C corps, S corps, partnerships and individual clients. The successful candidate may be the principal contact person on many of his / her clients throughout the year, effectively responsible for managing and developing the relationship. You will be responsible for bringing tax planning and tax law changes to the attention of management, and will be responsible for the tax compliance staff supervision, development and mentoring as you oversee your client engagement teams.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following :
- A proven track record as a manager of the tax practice of a national, regional or Big 4 accounting firm
- Strong tax compliance and consulting skills
- International experience highly desirable
- Strong leadership & staff development skills, and significant experience in supervising tax professionals
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven relationship management and sales skills
- Capability to identify and sell additional tax services to existing clients as well as potential target clients
- CPA certification & MST desired
- Salary commensurate with experience, base to $200K Bonus
