Job Title: Capital Markets Technical Product Manager- Hybrid/Boston
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support technology initiatives in the capital markets domain at our financial client in Boston, MA. This individual will serve as a critical link between investment teams, vendors, and technical staff, driving projects that enhance both front-office and back-office systems and processes.
The ideal candidate will combine deep industry knowledge of credit investments with strong product management, communication, and leadership skills. This is a high-impact role with broad exposure across business functions and technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Product Owner for a suite of systems supporting private credit, including oversight of third-party vendor platforms.
- Partner with investment teams to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Manage project lifecycles from initial concept through implementation, including post-deployment support.
- Lead cross-functional teams in delivering enhancements and new capabilities to investment management platforms.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization, collaborating with development and QA teams to execute changes.
- Prioritize and manage a portfolio of initiatives across short- and long-term horizons.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in credit-related investment processes, including trade flow, credit analytics, exposure reporting, and cash forecasting.
- Ensure best practices are followed in product management and systems analysis, including documentation, testing, and stakeholder communication.
- Build deep domain expertise in investment systems and integrations, supporting both ongoing operations and new platform rollouts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in business/systems analysis or product management within investment management, preferably on the buy side.
- Strong knowledge of private credit, fixed income, and associated financial instruments and processes.
- Experience with investment systems such as trading platforms, accounting systems, and reference/market data platforms.
- Strong project management capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, or BI platforms (e.g., PowerBI) is a plus.
- Ability to take ownership, drive initiatives independently, and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
