Temporary Staff/Accounts Payable/Receivable Accountant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Temporary Staff/Accounts Payable/Receivable Accountant at a software located in New Haven, CT, 06510. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of accounts payable/accounting experience.
This is a temporary role (6 months) and will pay up to $40.00 per hour (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.
On-site 3 days per week.

We are currently seeking candidates for a Temporary Staff/Accounts Payable/Receivable Accountant at a software located in New Haven, CT, 06510. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of accounts payable/accounting experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reconcile Accounts Payable and Bank Accounts
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable Accounts
- ACH/check/wire requests
- Post receivables to client accounts
- Process invoices
- General Ledger reconciliation
- Journal and adjusting entries
- Work with suppliers to resolve account discrepancies and payment issues
- Assist with month-end close
- Assist with financial reporting
- Bachelor’s Degree required, concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3 years of accounts payable/accounting experience
- Proficiency in NetSuite is highly preferred
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
