Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in mission-critical or commercial projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is highly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical modeling tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with project management and leading teams is a plus
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and secondary systems
- Perform load calculations and electrical system analyses
- Create detailed electrical drawings and specifications for construction
- Collaborate with mechanical, architectural, and structural engineers to provide integrated design solutions
- Review and evaluate contractor submittals, RFIs, and respond to field issues during construction
- Ensure compliance with local codes, national standards, and industry best practices
- Assist with project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical issues
