GENERAL OBJECTIVES
The Director of Mail Services will ensure completion of day-to-day operational tasks (Processing, Delivery and Customer Service) as well as timely and accurate delivery of mail packages to students, faculty and staff. In addition, the Director of Mail Services will ensure the shipping needs of the University are satisfactory and in compliance with USPS regulations.
Qualifications
This is a full-time position with regular office hours between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.

This position will work on the main campus, located at 3000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficient use of Excel
- General understanding of mail service operations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Strong research skills
- Ability to plan, organize, lead, and control department activity
- Oversee department financial activity (Budget, Journal Entries, Purchase Orders, and Postal Fees)
- Oversee office personnel (Hiring, Retaining, Training, and Motivating Workers)
- Oversee department projects and implement department changes as needed; ensure department resource are utilized for optimal performance
- Oversee operations to ensure efficiency of processes and maintain a safe work environment
- Complete administrative tasks (Approvals, New Hire Paperwork, Memos, Supply Orders, etc.)
- Fulfill Department Requests
