POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for protecting system boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and securing highly sensitive data.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of security network devices (switches, antivirus, cryptography, etc.) and other security networking hardware / software tools.
- Strong understanding of TCP / IP, subnetting, routing, access control lists, LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPN, NAT and network traffic analysis.
- Ability to keep current on best practices and new technological developments in the market.
- Demonstrated understanding of information security concepts, standards, practices, including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion prevention and detection, TCP / IP and related protocols, device monitoring and log management and event monitoring / reporting.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships in a fast paced constantly changing environment.
- Strong organizational skill and be able to attend to and prioritize projects.
- Demonstrable analytical and technical aptitude with focus on identify and alleviating the root cause of the issue; solves the whole problem.
- Proven ability to thrive and respond to frequent demands of multiple constituents, both internal and external to the organization, in a customer centric manner and high demand environment.
- Able to communicate, both in writing and verbally, in a logical, clear effective and confident manner at all levels.
- Have personal presence, impact and influence.
- Ability to provide exemplary customer service.
