Speech-Language Pathologist – West Houston, TX
Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to lead their Speech Pathology Department.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside occupational therapists, developmental-behavioral pediatricians, and behavior analysts. The setting is a pediatric in-clinic facility dedicated to providing top-tier care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Ensure each patient receives high-quality clinical therapy.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including SOAP notes.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment goals as needed.
- Conduct initial evaluations and reevaluations.
- Prepare and submit evaluation reports.
- Supervise and mentor SLP-As and graduate clinicians under your license.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as an SLP.
- CCC-SLP certification (required).
- Experience and passion for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Familiarity with Central Reach (preferred but not required).
