Description
- Provide referral information to students, families, program and professionals regarding the needs of referred students
- Obtain consent for psycho-educational evaluations
- Utilize various assessment instruments and techniques as a part of multidisciplinary team to assist in identifying students eligible for Special Education Services and in determining appropriate intervention strategies and techniques
- Organize assignments to meet due dates and mandated timelines
- Write full and individual evaluation reports to address the needs of the student and guide instruction
- Provide referral information to students, families, program and professionals regarding the needs of referred students
- Conduct Functional behavior assessments to assist in the development of behavior intervention plans.
- Conduct Counseling as a Related Service Evaluations
- Provide Counseling as a Related Service to students on assigned caseload
- Participate in Manifestation Determination ARD Committee meetings
- Comply with all state and federal rules, laws, policies and guidelines related to special education of students with disabilities.
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
