Description
- Assist in conducting intensified learning experience for students in assigned area and relieves teacher of various non-instructional duties
- Assist teacher in the management of student arrival and departure time
- Perform supportive tasks for a certified teacher that is primarily non-instructional in nature
- Assist teacher and students in achieving the objectives of the program or activities
- Maintain discipline in the absence of the teacher
- Tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce and follow-up learning activity
- Assist in filing, organizing materials for distribution and recording information
- Assist in maintaining student records, attendance and files
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
- Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel throughout the district is integral to this job. A remote working environment / alternate work arrangement is not an option for campus-based employees / campus-based positions because regular and punctual attendance at the worksite and performing all duties at the worksite are essential job duties for all campus-based personnel.
