Description
- Dallas ISD Communication Services is seeking a dynamic intern to support efforts in effectively engaging with students, families, staff, and the community. This in-person internship provides hands-on experience in content creation, writing, and marketing. The intern will play a key role in producing high-quality communications that highlight the district's initiatives and achievements, while gaining valuable skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of AP Style writing and strong editing skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere) or other editing tools like Canva.
- Perform assigned duties specific to the operational needs of the operating department where the internship is performed.
- Communicate effectively with department mentor and departmental staff.
- Perform specific tasks under the guidance of staff to support program activities.
- Ensure that punctuality is an essential function of the job.
- Provide feedback at the end of the internship to coordinator to help improve the internship program.
