Dallas Life Support Systems was founded in 1992 by the Garber family. We employ Respiratory Therapists, Sales Professionals, Customer Service Representatives, and Driver Technicians to bring peace to our patients by delivering medical equipment and supplies to their home. Most of our team has been with Dallas Life Support Systems for five years or more. All of our team can attest to the rewards of relationship-building with patients, Hospital Professionals, and the Care Management Teams that support each patient. It is essential that both our Team and our Patients feel like family! Driver technicians do not have to be clinical! They need to have a heart for people and be ready to "own their zone" as they venture out for their route each day. Your adventure awaits you!
Dallas Life Support Systems employs of a team of about 26 fantastic people and loves to promote from within!
Schedule:
- Route Driver 7 am to 4-5:00 pm Monday through Friday, plus rotating on-call
- Hoth-shot Driver 10 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday, plus rotating on-call
- Overtime available
- Technicians will be trained on equipment and required to obtain CDL within 90 days of employment
- Company-provided education manuals and training
- Will drive Company Ram ProMaster Vans for medical supply delivery
- Must have a clean driving record for the past 5 years to qualify
- Communicating clearly with our team and those in our care.
- Effectively anticipating patients' needs and providing empathy for their experience
- Provide peace to patients through intentional actions and words
- Be reliable and have a solution-seeking mindset
- Eager to learn, grow, and develop your skillset
- Act as a liaison between the organization and our patients
- The heart of a teacher and love having hundreds of grandparents
- Experience serving customers, solving problems, & helping people in a support role
- Good Written & verbal communication skills
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Class C CDL w Hazmat Endorsement (must pass general knowledge test within 90 days of employment)
