In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles, and was the first Accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County. The hospital is a recipient of Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Awards, 15 Healthgrades Five-Star ratings over the past three years, and Straight "A" Hospital Safety Grades from The Leapfrog Group since 2018. Responsibilities:
PRN - Nights
Under the supervision of an Registered Nurse, the patient Sitter maintains constant visual observation of assigned patient. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Communicates observations of the patient’s activity and behavior on a regular basis to the assigned nurse. Communicates in a professional manner and demonstrates respect for patient, families/significant other and other health care members. Offers support to peers and staff.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing.
- Within 90 days be eligible to participate in a C.N.A. Training program.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
