Qualifications
Who you are:
- Must have an active CNA license in the State of Oregon.
- Current BLS CPR certification preferred.
- Must interact tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government staff and the general public.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Must be highly customer service oriented and dedicated to providing superior hospitality and service to our residents.
General Summary:
The Health Center at Dallas Retirement Village is an 121 bed rehabilitation and long-term care facility. Our goal is to ensure the optimum level of care is delivered to the residents in an engaging and collaborative environment.
Essential Job Duties:
- Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
- Follows care plans established for each resident, encouraging their efforts and participation.
- Recognizes and reports observations and problems to the Charge Nurse immediately (i.e. change in resident condition, complaints from resident or family, behavioral problems including interventions attempted and the results, or inability to complete tasks).
- Notifies Manager of any changes that might need to take place with care plan.
- Keeps privileged information about residents confidential.
- Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed.
- Answers call lights promptly.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
- Works effectively with all other staff in team-oriented working relationship with other nursing staff and other departments.
Salary : $23 - $29
