Life Enrichment Leader Assisted Living
The Life Enrichment Leader in Assisted Living helps develop, plan, and facilitate the activity program for Assisted Living residents, providing person appropriate activities that meet each resident’s individual intellectual, social, spiritual and creative needs, as well as his/her physical needs, capabilities and interests in group and/or individual settings. The Leader also assists with planning and facilitating seasonal parties and decorations, and honoring resident's birthdays and special life events.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Life Enrichment Leader must meet the following educational and experience requirements:
- Have a High School diploma or GED
- Be able to work in close cooperation with the Director of Life Enrichment and team members, accept and utilize constructive criticism, and display initiative to complete activity related tasks and programs.
- One year related job experience.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Be able to read newspaper articles and books clearly aloud to a group.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must possess good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be able to lead effectively.
- Must be able to work with residents, staff, team members and guests in a positive and professional manner.
- Must be willing to flex hours as able if necessary.
- Must be able to function with grace under pressure.
- Must be able to project a cheerful and enthusiastic disposition particularly when conducting activities.
