Who you are:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing education.
- Must have current active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Oregon.
- Current BLS CPR certification preferred.
- Experience in the care of the geriatric resident as evidenced by previous work experience is preferred.
- Experience with the RAI process preferred but not necessary
- Must meet Oregon State regulation for Resident Care Managers that mandates successful completion of 3 credit hours or 30 continuing education hours (CEU’s) pertinent to gerontology rehabilitation or long-term care; 3 credit hours or 14 CEU’s pertinent to supervision within 9 months of hire.
*Sign-On Bonus to be paid out quarterly over the first year of employment.
Qualifications
Essential Job Duties:
- Evaluates all admission inquires to determine appropriate placement on his/her unit.
- Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her unit.
- Provides support/education to staff, residents, and families.
- Meets with all new admissions to assure core needs are being met.
- Gathers information since last business day related to resident updates, events, and new orders for Morning Meeting.
- Prepares for and attends meetings as designated by supervisor.
- Assures accuracy and completeness of medical record.
Salary : $116,000 - $118,000
