Are you a Surgical Services leader looking for a new challenge? We’re seeking a Director of Surgical Services to join our team and lead the perioperative team in delivering safe, high-quality patient care. With 8 operating rooms (expanding to 9 soon), robotic surgery capabilities, and a collaborative environment, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OR professional to make a significant impact.

Why This Role is For You:

• Lead a well-established team with 67 direct reports, including 1 Manager, 1 SPD Supervisor, and 1 PACU CNC.
• Oversee robotic surgeries (1,400 annually) and general surgeries (3,500 cases per year) in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Drive employee engagement, reduce turnover, and build relationships with both staff and physicians.
• Be part of a dynamic surgical team with a welcoming and supportive culture.
• Oversee a broad range of services including Ortho, OBGYN, and Urology, but excluding open heart surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead 24/7 operations for surgical services, ensuring safe and efficient patient care.
• Identify and solve problems, implementing solutions with effective communication and follow-through.
• Build strong relationships with staff and physicians to meet department goals.
• Mentor and develop future leaders, providing feedback and facilitating individual development plans.
• Develop and implement ongoing surgical programs to ensure consistent quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications You Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business preferred.
• 3 years of leadership experience in surgical services preferred.
• RN License in the state of practice required.
• CNOR and CSSM certifications preferred.
• Strong experience in managing 5 ORs and knowledge of metrics and Kronos is desired.
