New Graduate Residency Program - Charleston, SC
- Pay: Starting at $29.62/hr
- Shift Differentials: $4.00 for Nights, $3.00 for Weekends

Position Overview: The New Graduate Residency Program is a yearlong, paid program designed for new graduate nurses. It begins with a 10-16 week classroom and preceptorship training and offers an opportunity to work in Med/Surg units like Oncology, Ortho, Trauma, Neuro, and General.
Program Highlights:
Part 1: StaRN Training (5-8 weeks)
Classroom-based training with state-of-the-art simulations.
Certification and training on charting systems.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
Part 2: Clinical Preceptorship (7-8 weeks)
Hands-on clinical experience at the hospital with a one-on-one preceptor.
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per
Part 3: Residency Program week.
Transition into a full-time role at the hospital with continued mentorship and professional development.
Complete an evidence-based capstone project.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school within the past year (ADN, BSN).
License: Current SC RN license or multi-state compact RN license (or ability to obtain).
Commitment: Must agree to a two-year, full-time commitment to the hospital.
Other Requirements: Strong communication skills and self-motivation.
