Pay Range: $175,656 - $210,000/year 15% target incentive plan

Schedule: Full-time, Days (No Weekends)

Relocation Assistance:

Homeowners: $15,000 lump sum up to $10,000 for moving household goods

Renters: $10,000 lump sum up to $5,000 for moving household goods

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Emergency Services to lead strategic planning, quality improvement, and business development for a multi-hospital emergency services line. This role will oversee strategic initiatives, foster clinical excellence, and drive operational success across 9 hospitals and 8 freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs).

The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience in large acute care settings with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma designations and a proven track record of improving patient experience and metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance emergency services and grow the business.

Quality Improvement: Drive performance initiatives focused on efficiency, patient safety, and clinical excellence.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and trauma designation requirements.

Collaboration: Partner with administrative leaders, physicians, and Team Health staff to achieve organizational goals.

Financial Management: Develop operational and capital plans, manage budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of excellence and accountability, ensuring staff are recognized and supported.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Master's Degree (Required)

BSN (Required)

Experience:

5-7 years as a Director in a large acute care hospital setting (Required)

Proven success in improving patient experience and operational metrics

Licensure:

Active RN license in the state of practice or a compact license

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Note: Interim candidates will not be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $175,656 - $210,000/year (based on experience)

Incentive Plan: 15% target bonus

Relocation Assistance:

Homeowners: $15,000 lump sum $10,000 for moving costs

Renters: $10,000 lump sum $5,000 for moving costs
