Dallas Trailer Repair (DTR) has been in business since 1972. DTR is a full-service trailer dealership and provides service & maintenance, trailer & parts sales and offers custom modification services as well as mobile tech repair services.
Project Details
DTR is looking for an experienced Contract Recruiter that will successfully recruit & vet skilled Trailer Mechanics (*semi-trailer cargo trailers) for multiple US locations.
You will work directly with the hiring managers and Human Resources.
Contract Duration: 30 days (potential extension based on hiring needs).
Location: Irving Tx OnSite [Potentially Remote, but knowledge of U.S. markets is required]
Compensation: $18 25/hr, based on proven experience.
Work Schedule: Monday Friday / 800AM 500PM
Benefits: None due to Contract Role.
Duties/Responsibilities
Source and recruit experienced Trailer Mechanics via job boards, social media, and industry networks
Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring team
Assist with offer negotiations and onboarding)
Able to work independently and deliver results within 30 days
Required Skills/Abilities
Experienced in hiring mechanics, technicians, or skilled trades
Knowledgeable about fleet maintenance, trailer repair, or transportation industry
Strong sourcing skills using job boards, social media, and industry networks
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED.
At least 2 - 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
