We are looking for someone to join our team as our Showroom Coordinator. This position works out of our Georgetown showroom and is responsible for the daily operations of the showroom; from keeping the samples priced and up to date, to helping walk-in customers, receiving returned samples and assisting with checking out new samples and finding products in the showroom. This
is not a sales position but has the opportunity for growth to move into sales if desired. The position would work directly with our sales team assisting with their clients that come into the showroom looking for specific flooring samples. This person would also be responsible to gather information from new clients looking for full service flooring installations and transferring that information over to our scheduler for consultation and estimate appointments. This position would also assist in talking with customers until our in-house sales person is able to take over so strong customer service skills are required and necessary to be successful in this role. Flooring and/or construction experience is preferred but not required. If you are a quick learner, enjoy home design, and working with people, this could be the right fit with training! Strong computer skills are necessary as this person is also responsible for uploading price lists, creating showroom signage, and other general office tasks requiring email communication and basic data entry.
This position is full time, Tuesday through Saturday. Medical insurance to employee is covered by employer; dental, vision, and dependent coverage at expense of the employee. 401k with profit share eligible after 1 year plus start of next quarter. Salary DOE.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep showroom clean and organized
- Keep sample pricing updated
- Assist customers with sample check-out and return
- Assist sales team with locating samples and product pricing
- Accurately take down information from customers to relay to scheduling
- Work effectively with our in house sales team to take care of new walk in customers
- Work with vendors on updating displays and removing dropped products/adding new products
- Handling mail and an occasional delivery of small items to the showroom
