The Dallastown Area School District seeks a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) who will work with an assigned student at the Intermediate School (Grades 4-6).03/03/2025
As an instructional paraprofessional, you'll play a valuable role in inspiring and creating pathways for student success by supporting special education teachers in the delivery of supports and services for a student with an IEP.
Your work schedule will follow student attendance full and half days during the school year - approximately 180 student days mid-August through early June - with full-day hours of approximately 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM, which includes 7.50 work hours and a half-hour unpaid lunch. Additional days may be arranged by your supervisor. While there are typically no pay periods July through August, you'll enjoy summers off to spend more time with your family. For a full school year, your bi-weekly pays will typically begin by mid-September and continue through late-June.
Paid Leave: After a successful Probationary Period of 90 calendar days, you would also be eligible for personal and sick days (prorated for the current school year based on start date).
