For late-April 2025, the Dallastown Area School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Part-Time, 10-Month Classroom Paraprofessional for Loganville-Springfield Elementary (K-3).03/03/2025
You'll play a valuable role in inspiring and creating pathways for student success by supporting the classroom teacher in the delivery of supports and services for regular education classrooms.
Your work schedule and pay would follow student attendance full and half days during the full school year - approximately 180 student days mid-August through early June in a full school year - with full-day timeframes of six (6) hours, which includes 5.50 work hours and a half-hour unpaid lunch. Full-day schedule will range from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM. Additional days may be arranged by your supervisor.
You would enjoy summers off, immediate inclusion/continuation in the Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) through payroll contributions, and Thanksgiving Day holiday pay at your per-diem rate. After a Probationary Period of 90 calendar days, you would also be eligible for paid leave (personal and sick days) - prorated for the current school year based on start date.
