2nd Shift: 2:30PM -11 PM

Objective: Coordinates the shipping and/or receiving of finished goods and performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties for the RDC.
Major Functions & Scope
Experience: Requires 4 years of business experience in administrative or related activities preferably in a distribution environment.
Competencies: Core competencies include effective organization, multi-tasking, prioritizing, attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills.
Other Pertinent Job Information: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may sit, climb or balance, talk or hear. - Coordinates shipping and receiving schedules according to production order status (POS) requirements.
- Prepares bill of lading, invoices, orders and other records for daily shipments.
- Checks and verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders.
- Serves as point of contact for carriers with any shipping or receiving related questions and makes appointments.
- Prepares and runs pick tickets for loaders to pull shipping manifests, etc.
- Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
- Keeps supervisor informed of any problem areas.
- Performs other duties as required.
