What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Finance Manager position at Daltile?
- Support Director of Manufacturing Finance with strategic and tactical projects.
- Provide insights into variances and trends to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify and assess financial risks.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Assess the financial impact of business initiatives and provide recommendations.
- Become familiar with the development and analysis of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts and become a backup for plant controllers. Also serve as a backup for plant controllers regarding closing and reporting requirements.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 6-8 years of job-related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of management experience.
- MBA, CPA or CMA certification are a plus.

- Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

- Basic knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
- High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

- This employee needs to be willing to travel up to 2 weeks per month if needed.
