Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a material handler, we need someone that is experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading and unloading materials.
Pay Rate :
- Entry Rate : $18.04
- 3 month Progression Increase : $19.13
- Plus $1.00 shift differential.
Shift : 3rd Shift
Monday - Friday.11 : 30 PM-8 : 00 AM.Primary Objective :
Operates various powered industrial trucks to pickup customer orders and convey orders to packing stations or shipping areas.
Major Function and Scope :
Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling / assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy / completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking, and label vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conduct daily cycle counts.Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments and stock material, processing customer returns and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.Operates forklift equipment.Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom, and general office maintenance, etc.Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.Performs other related duties as required.Experience and Knowledge Required :
High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.1 or more years of previous distribution / warehouse experience.Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.Competencies :
