Quality Control Operator - (PM Shift)

Dal-Tile is looking for a full-time Quality Control Operator! This is a night shift position from 6:45pm - 7am!

Job Functions

• Helps to maintain a safe, healthy, and organized working environment for all areas.
• Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered too.
• Follows the Quality Management System.
• Ensures product meets quality control standards.
• Knowledge and Ability to run the spectrophotometer.
• Ability to communicate with team members regarding new and existing issues during inspection.
• Perform pigment cookie tests.
• Ensures safe and healthy working conditions and ensures an organized work environment.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software to write reports and to effectively present information and send emails.
• Ability to define opportunities; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Monitors equipment and/or processes and ensures timely reporting of any unusual problems to supervisor.
• Follows company operating procedures and guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  
  

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb, or balance. The associate may lift and/or move up to 68 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud.
