What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Daltile?
Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our TEAM! As the Quality Control Technician, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support, such as performing quality checks, inspecting product samples, and auditing glaze line operations.
Primary Objective :
Evaluates quality of tile during manufacturing process to ensure specifications are met.
Major Function and Scope :
- Performs quality checks on work in progress for thickness, size, gloss, color, etc.
- Inspects product samples to ensure quality standards are met.
- Audits glaze line operations to ensure applicators are performing efficiently.
- Documents test results.
- Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
- Follows standard operating procedures.
- Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
- Performs other related duties as required.
