Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and assess drain systems for blockages, damage, or wear.
- Use specialized tools such as drain snakes, hydro-jetting equipment, and plungers to clear clogs in residential, commercial, and industrial drainage systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on pipes, drains, and sewers to prevent future blockages.
- Operate various equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety standards and protocols.
- Respond to emergency calls for blocked or backed-up drains.
- Document work completed, including the type of service performed and materials used.
- Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and pricing.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
- Follow all local codes and regulations regarding plumbing and drainage systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and professional behavior at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment used in drain cleaning.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and crawling in tight spaces.
