Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified low voltage electrical superintendent. Candidate must take pride in their work and be able to work independently, be responsible, professional, punctual, communicative, and have a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Read, draw, and interpret wiring diagrams / blueprints to ensure accurate installation and compliance with design requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers to assist in construction estimating and project scheduling.
- Utilize software tools such as ProCore and Prolog for project documentation and tracking.
- Supervise junior technicians or contractors during installations to ensure quality workmanship.
- Conduct regular inspections of installed systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols while working on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any challenges encountered.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or technical degree in electrical systems or 3 years field experience. Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including security, telecommunications, and data networks.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices and project management software (ProCore, Prolog).
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience in supervising teams or subcontractors is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction practices is advantageous but not required.
