Outside Sales Account Executive
Daly Computers is a system integrator, solution provider, value added reseller, and major service provider focused on serving the IT infrastructure needs of state local governments and education customers. Its mission for the past 36 years is to combine innovative technologies and services to help our clients succeed in their mission goals.
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Executive with excellent communication and presentation skills to join our team. The position requires extensive travel around the State of Maryland to meet with customers, create relationships, gain market share, and market Daly’s value proposition. This position requires extensive prospecting, lead generation, customer visits, consultative selling, and tight collaboration with Daly’s marketing program as well as the Sales and management team to generate new clients and maintain the existing customer base. The position requires travel around Virginia to meet with customers or attend marketing events. Remote work is available when site visits are not available.
Typical work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or as needed. All candidates must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug test screening. Position is base salary plus commission and bonuses. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan and more.
Required Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prospecting, setting appointments, and visiting customers
· Lead generation and lead qualification
· Respond to customer requests and solicitations
· Learn and use Daly sales programs and tools
· Learn and be familiar with industry programs and technologies
· Solution selling across designated portfolios
· Provide highest standard of customer service and experience
· Collaborate and support sales and marketing programs
· Comply with sales objectives and quotas
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
· Public sector sales experience is preferred (State, Local Government, and Education)
· Experience selling IT solutions including hardware, software and services
· Minimum of 3 years professional experience required
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
· Dynamic and highly motivated
· Ability to seek, establish, and maintain client relationships
· Ability to learn new technologies and industry programs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
