Job Summary
Daly Land Services is a small commercial site development company. We have 8 employees, but we are doubling in size quickly. We have great operators and great opportunities to grow here. We are looking for a foreman to run a crew. This crew will demo any existing building, remove all existing site surfaces and utilities. Preform any necessary grade work per the plans. Install new water and sanitary taps, install storm water systems, and install aggregate on site. At this time, we do not do any concrete work.
General Accountabilities
We are looking for someone who can be on site every day, manage the crew and equipment and work through the job from start to finish. Order materials, track job progress. Complete daily logs on spreadsheets. Communicate with our project manager and the general contractor supervisor with progress updates.
Job Qualifications
We need someone who is organized, they need to be able to track all the materials coming and going, hours the crew members work on certain task and keep their production rates steady.
Must be personable. You must be able to get along with the general contractors’ supervisors and project managers, build relationships with them.
Manage the various personalities of your crew members.
Someone with a short fuse, or "hot headed" will not last here.
We need someone that can be friendly with anyone from truck drivers to inspectors.
You must be fully proficient with a rotary Topcon laser. We do not use GPS currently. We would like to implement that next year.
You must be able to read blueprints and put that math to work in real space.
Complete pipe slopes, grading slopes, etc.
We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience in excavation.
We need someone who can start a new job tomorrow. Take the blueprints, be introduced to a crew and be able to complete the job start to finish.
We have a great crew of operators and laborers that work great with good leadership and direction. We need someone with a positive attitude, motivated to grow with us!
Pay based on experience, bonuses given for completing jobs before deadlines.
