Summary
The Warehouse Associate performs all packing and shipping tasks in the warehouse's daily operation. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, the ability to work under minimal supervision, and the ability to lift or move heavy products or boxes up to twenty (20) lbs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives all inbound product.
- Double-checks loads for inventory agreement on both inbound and outbound trucks.
- Re-packs skids and re-stocks pick areas as needed.
- Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
- Processes required paperwork for national truckloads.
- Maintains relationships with delivering product to warehouse.
- Schedules carrier for mixed loads.
- Provides backup to pickers.
- Performs other duties and assignments as required.
