JOB DESCRIPTION:

Damascus Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center (www.damascusderm.com) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to assist with pediatric, medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology patient care and daily practice operations. This is an extremely unique opportunity to secure a dream job with a four-day work-week and six-figure salary. There is tremendous potential for professional, personal, and financial growth. Our office has one Dermatologist/Mohs Micrographic Surgeon who is the owner/founder and currently two established nurse practitioners with full, independent schedules and their own personal medical assistants. There is an immediate need for a nurse practitioner to replace an outgoing nurse practitioner with a full patient load. We are firm believers that an ideal work-life balance allows us to sustainably provide the best care to our patients. As such, we offer the following 4-day work week schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5PM, and only one Friday per month from 7:30 AM – 5 PM. Our flourishing, state-of-the-art practice continues to grow at a rapid pace and is well-established in the community at nearly 10 years old. We offer an exceptionally competitive compensation structure with a six-figure base salary in addition to a percentage productivity bonus that accrues after a certain threshold of collections is met. As such, there is incredible earnings potential and our providers routinely exceed National/Local averages for Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. RESPONSIBILITIES:

The NP is required to independently see pediatric and medical dermatology patients. In addition, all our current NPs have sufficient training to independently perform appropriate routine procedures including skin biopsies, electrocautery, cryosurgery, electrodessication and curettage, incision and drainage, and basic wide local excisions and repairs. Prior dermatology and/or surgical experience is strongly preferred. The NP will learn advanced surgical skills, laser procedures, cosmetic procedures, and advanced pediatric and general dermatology. Our office is extremely modernized and we utilize an Electronic Health Record and multiple other digital platforms to maximize efficiency. The candidate must be extremely competent with computers and various programs (including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to thrive in this setting.

JOB STARTS: Immediately

SALARY: Six-figure base salary followed by a percentage productivity bonus that accrues after a certain threshold of collections is met. There is tremendous potential to significantly exceed National/Local average Dermatology Nurse Practitioner earnings based on productivity.
