Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe, efficient environment for procedures. The tech must be able to perform duties in all patient care and operational areas, subject to reasonable accommodations. Participation in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include wearing a respirator, is required. This is a non-union position.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Must meet the qualifications established by Radiologic Health Sciences of California to obtain a license.
- Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
- Licenses/Certificates:
- California State CRT license
- ARRT certification preferred
- Current BLS Certification through AHA required
