Salary : $20.96 Hourly

POSITION SUMMARY :
Under the direction of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, performs phlebotomy procedures with venous and capillary samples, performs EKG's and delivers to the proper work area for all patient types. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations, also be able to employ all mandatory safety devices and procedures. Must participate in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include the wearing of a respirator. This is a union position. Pay Rate : $26.29 hourly
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Education required qualifying for certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician.
Experience : Minimum of one year as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician in a hospital setting preferred. Computer experience required.
Licenses / Certificates : Phlebotomy license issued by the California Department of Public Health Laboratory Field Services.
Current BLS Certification required.
Salary : $21 - $26
