Damon Anderson Physical Therapy (DAPT) is seeking a motivated, fun and professional Physical Therapist Aide to join our team in an outpatient clinic. Some duties that will be asked:
- Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and documenting patient progress
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of human physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy (preferred)
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction
As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting the physical therapists in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient care, setting up equipment, escorting patients, monitoring patients during therapy sessions, maintaining cleanliness of therapy areas, and performing administrative tasks.
To be successful in this role, previous experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred. You should have a strong knowledge of human physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy. Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will be interacting with patients on a daily basis.
