Kentucky Farm Bureau - Shively is currently seeking a fulltime customer service representative to join our team (located across from Butler Highschool). As a CSR you will provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency, as well as quote and process new business applications. General computer skills and a desire to help people is required. We are open from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. Our office is closed 12 pm - 1 pm for lunch. Three weeks paid vacation/PTO after 90-day probation period. 3% matching IRA after two years of employement.
Responsibilities
- Obtain your Property & Casualty license at no cost to you. You will also be paid for your time in class and taking the exam
- Answer incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to differing personalities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
