We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support the Human Resources department and encourage continuous improvement!
What You'll Do:
- Administer various human resources plans, policies, and procedures for all company personnel
- Periodically review handbook and policies and procedures manual and suggest changes as necessary
- Assist with administering compensation program
- Monitor performance evaluation program
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
- Maintain and update Job Expectations for all employees
- Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing
- Process all benefit enrollment paperwork, complete adds/drops/changes.
- Oversee HRIS in relation to unemployment filings, garnishments issues, etc.
- Process all status changes, rate changes, and employee evaluations.
- Plan and organize company events and mandatory company meetings
- Serve as Recruiter including, reviewing, pre-screening and interviewing candidates
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
- Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
- Review existing policies and procedures
- Set up new employee on-boarding process for safety with HR
- Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes

What is Required?
- Prior experience in a similar job
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
