Overview
Located in Laguna Hills for over 30 years, Dan Luna Exceptional Woodworking has an opening for an experienced Cabinet Vision Engineer to join our team. The right candidate will also have woodshop experience in custom cabinetry and millwork for high-end residential homes.
This is NOT a remote position
Responsibilities
Create detailed shop drawings from architectural drawings using Cabinet Vision
Create photo-realistic 3D renderings to aid in project presentations
CNC programming
Hardware selection
Requisition of materials
Collaborate with other team members
Assist with field measurements and takeoff
Ensure the accuracy of drawings
Maintain organized documentation of all design files and revisions for future reference
Minimum Required Experience
MUST have at least 5 years of woodworking in custom cabinetry and millwork for high-end residential homes - solid wood, milling, custom casework, and assembly
MUST have at least 2 years current Cabinet Vision experience
MUST have at least 5 years of CAD drafter detailer experience using cabinetry software, must include at least 2 years of Cabinet Vision
MUST have at least 2 years of CNC programming
Additional Must Have Skills
Must be pleasant with others, displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude
Ability to take initiative and be creative at problem-solving
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with strong organizational skills
Effective communication and follow-through
Flexibility, able to change direction on short notice
Knowledge of mathematical and geometrical concepts, formulas, and calculations
