Summary / Objective :

The Express Technician is responsible for performing basic light vehicle maintenance.

Essential Job Functions :

Perform vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, light maintenance and documentation.
Perform oil changes and lubrication work, install filters, wipers, bulbs, batteries, and rotate tires.
Communicate with express advisor when additional repairs are needed.
Follow express service process as designed by Pilson Auto Center

Math Ability - Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Preferred Education / Experience :

One year certificate from college, technical school or factory apprentice program; or three to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally

required to climb or balance.
