Description:
The Parts Advisor supports the daily operations of the Parts Department, assisting customers, processing orders, and ensuring efficient inventory management.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist customers with parts orders and inquiries.
- Look up parts using the catalog system.
- Process invoices, receipts, and order paperwork.
- Manage shipping, receiving, and parts storage.
- Maintain organized and clean parts area.
- Handle warranty parts and special tool inventory.
- Cut keys and assist with parts deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 months of related experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to calculate discounts and percentages.
- Basic understanding of inventory processes.
- Comfortable working with computers and catalog software.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions.
- Moderate noise level.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The employee will be paid an hourly wage of $16.00 - $20.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, education, and geographic location.

Performance-Based Bonus:
- The employee may be eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus, determined by individual and company performance. The employee must be actively employed and in good standing at the time of payment.
