Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Parts Specialist/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with OEM parts, aftermarket parts etc. particularly in the automotive service industries. The parts specialist should also have experience working with insurance companies to get approval of estimates and supplements. This role involves managing inventory, processing orders and customer service. The individual will also assist in conducting estimates for potential customers for the repairs needed on their vehicles.
Duties
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate inventory of parts and supplies.
- Submit estimates/supplements to insurance companies for approval.
- Check parts in as they are delivered by our vendors.
- Collaborate with vendors to procure necessary parts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to parts availability and specifications.
- Schedule repairs with customers.
- Provide estimates to potential customers.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Experience in automotive repair or related field. Willing to train the right individual.
- Familiarity with OEM parts aftermarket parts in an automotive service environments is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and customers.
