REQUIRES AN ACTIVE / EXISTING TS / SCI WITH CI POLYGRAPH - NO REMOTE WORK
You will be responsible for gathering analyzing and defining requirements to determine the most effective software and technologies to satisfy client needs. You'll develop, maintain, support and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements, providing specific input to system design and adhering to formal design processes and guidelines. You'll design and develop user friendly interfaces, maintain technical documentation and ensure quality control of software. You will select development processes, recommend new technologies and troubleshooting complex software problems. You'll also integrate new products with existing applications to improve system functionality and design.
Education & Experience Requirements
5 Years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph
Ability to complete development work on the high-side Linux environment
Security certification
Java experience - Any level of experience is acceptable
Python experience - Any level of experience is acceptable
Mongo experience - Any level of experience is acceptable
Postgres experience - Any level of experience is acceptable
Appian Experience (min 2 years of experience designing developing or supporting Appian or Appian based applications)
Desired Qualifications
Ability to obtain SCI with Poly level Security Clearance
Skilled in communication with government customers on issues
Cloud experience
Familiar with DIA engineering environment
Ability to capture user issues and feedback
Ability to create sustainable process
FIDBOS-X experience
Skilled in engineering efforts (using Appian) of core processes for a federal government agency
