Dana-co, a leading design company in luxury lingerie, is seeking a Junior Account Executive to join our Specialty Store sales team. This position is responsible for managing current retail accounts, fostering new business relationships, and driving sales growth for specialty stores. Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in intimate apparel or 1-3 years of retail experience with an intimate apparel background.
- Experience in Wholesale B2B Sales and Inventory Analysis.
- Knowledge of Tradeshow environments.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently.
- Must be willing to travel.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage retail partnerships and product assortments to maximize sales performance.
- Track and manage all purchase orders (POs), ensuring product availability and timely replacements.
- Analyze weekly sales data to communicate retail trends, performance, and competitive positioning.
- Provide weekly updates to the Sales Manager, discussing goals, challenges, and progress.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, creating new sales opportunities and promoting brand visibility.
- Explore new business development opportunities, introducing the brand to new accounts.
- Strategize and execute plans to exceed sales goals.
- Grow wholesale shipments and manage expenses effectively.
- Present products to buyers and collaborate on assortments to secure orders.
- Attend semi-annual trade shows in NY and LA.
- Organize and execute cost-effective events to drive sales.
