Relief Route Sales Representative
Dana Distributors – Westchester/Putnam Counties
Full-Time | Sales Department
$18.00/hour Bonus Potential
Are you a motivated self-starter who enjoys being on the road, building relationships, and driving results? Dana Distributors is looking for a Relief Route Sales Representative to join our Sales team! In this role, you’ll step in to support sales routes when team members are on vacation or out of office—keeping our operations running smoothly and our customers happy.
What You’ll Do
- Cover assigned sales routes during absences and ensure service continuity.
- Make regular sales calls and in-store presentations to promote our beverage brands.
- Support retailers with inventory management, merchandising, and in-store displays.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts.
- Identify new sales opportunities, displays, and distribution gaps.
- Collect payments and accurately record transactions.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to target non-buying accounts and drive growth.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, issues, and opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous sales or route experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- SLA Solicitor’s Permit (or willingness to obtain).
What You’ll Need
- Basic math and reasoning skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with order entry systems a plus.
