We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to be part of a project team focused on discovering, translating, and developing next generation therapeutics using cutting edge immunological and mass spectrometry techniques.

  • Perform laboratory experiments and conduct data analysis
  • Generate reliable and reproducible data
  • Design experiments and execute on protocols; propose modification to protocols as needed
  • Maintain accurate records, write reports, and prepare presentations
  • Contribute to project team as well as overall laboratory organization and safety

Qualifications

 

  • BS/MS in biological sciences or equivalent
  • 2-5 years research experience in academic and/or pharmaceutical/biotech environment
  • Experience working in molecular biology, biochemistry, or proteomics
  • Experience performing quantitative mass spectrometry assays
  • Curiosity about science

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with routine molecular biology techniques
  • Familiarity with Thermo instrumentation (Eclipse, Fusion, Q Exactive Plus, EASY-nLC, UltiMate 3000 RSLCnano, UltiMate 3000 HPLC, etc.)
  • Familiarity with mass spectrometry methods (DIA, DDA, TMT-MS3, MRM, PRM, Intact Mass, etc.)
  • Independent, self-motivated, and innovative
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and team skills
  • Ability to excel in a goal-oriented and fast-moving team environment
  • Basic immunology a plus
